The Swedish Embassy x Soho House London

In partnership with The Swedish Embassy, Soho House, and The Swedish Arts Council. In November 2022, Ladieslove organized a series of cultural exchange events in London, in collaboration with Izzy Bossy of Bossy LDN, the Swedish Embassy, Soho House, and the Swedish Arts Council. These initiatives aimed to foster connections between creative communities in Stockholm and London and included:

· A Networking Dinner: Hosted at the Swedish Embassy, bringing together creative minds from Stockholm and London to encourage collaboration and exchange.

· A Soho House Event: Held at White City, featuring live performances and DJ sets by prominent talents from the UK and Sweden.

· A DJ Workshop: Tailored for 25 women, this workshop was collaboratively organized by Ladieslove and Izzy Bossy, providing practical training and inspiration for aspiring DJs.

My Role:

· Art Direction: Leading the graphic design process, including creating three distinct artworks for each activation and developing a cohesive visual identity for the events.

· Event Project Management: Managing the overall planning and execution of the events, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience in London.

· Content Production: Capturing high-quality photo and video content to document and promote the activations.

· Cultural Programming: Curating event lineups and designing engaging experiences that highlighted the best of UK and Swedish talent.

· Partnerships: Coordinating collaborations with key partners, including the Swedish Embassy, Soho House, and the Swedish Arts Council.

· Workshop Leader: Facilitating the DJ workshop, providing hands-on guidance, and empowering participants.

· Invitations and Communication: Responsible for creating and managing invitations, drafting information letters, and overseeing the guest list for all three activations.

This project successfully bridged creative communities in London and Stockholm, celebrating cultural exchange and fostering new opportunities for collaboration.
